Hello! My name is Kira, and I am a professional, performing mermaid from Nashville, Tennessee. I work with an amazing company called Music City Mermaid. As a mermaid, you can find me bringing magic to parties, events, fundraisers, meet and greets, and more!
Who am I outside of the tail? Currently, I am an undergraduate student at Lipscomb University in Nashville pursuing my degrees with a double major in English and French. I've been a competitive swimmer since I was a kid, and I've used my passion for the water to teach others how to swim and be safe in the water. I've been a life guard for 5 years, and am certified by Ellis & Associates for water rescues, CPR, first aid, and AED. I love working with kids: I was a children's church teacher for 8 years, I've nannied for a wide variety of ages, and I've taught many kids how to swim!

Being a mermaid allows me to combine many of my passions, and it turns out it's the best job ever! I love getting to experience the natural joy of children when they encounter something magical.
